A regional brief needs a crew who already knows that a site induction eats a morning, that the weather can close the only road in, and that stock footage of a landscape nobody actually lives in doesn't fool anyone. We've been building that experience for more than twenty years, in places most production companies only see on a map.

Where we've been
Over more than ten years on Teach Queensland recruitment content, production travelled to Horn Island, Thursday Island, Mornington Island, Aurukun, Injinoo, Dajarra and communities across Cape York and the Torres Strait.
We've worked the gas fields at Roma, Fairview and Arcadia Valley for Santos, taken a helicopter in when the roads went under, and shot Gladstone Ports Corporation's annual report at the port. We produced Stories From St George for Heart of Australia's mobile cardiac units serving regional and remote Queensland, and community campaigns for Torres Strait communities on behalf of Biosecurity Queensland.
For the Department of Transport and Main Roads, we developed Connecting Queensland, a campaign built around a single creative system carrying eight distinct, region-specific stories: Brisbane, Cairns, the Gold Coast, Mackay, Maryborough, Rockhampton, Toowoomba and remote Queensland, each with its own real investment figures and named local projects.
Questions people ask before they book a regional shoot
How remote has Welcome to the Fold actually filmed?
Horn Island, Thursday Island, Mornington Island, Aurukun, Injinoo, Dajarra and communities across Cape York and the Torres Strait, over more than ten years producing Teach Queensland recruitment content, plus the Surat and Bowen Basin gas fields and Gladstone's port and bulk handling facilities for resources clients.
What logistics does a regional Queensland shoot actually require?
Charter flights, overnight accommodation, four-wheel-drive access and limited facilities on location are standard conditions on remote work, not exceptions. Equipment needs to be self-sufficient, since many locations don't have power for heavy production gear.
Can you get a crew in when the weather closes the roads?
Yes. We once took a helicopter into a Santos gas field because the roads had gone under and the shoot window was that specific week. Build a contingency into any regional brief, and ask your supplier what theirs is.
Do you charge a premium for regional and remote work?
Travel and accommodation for remote or regional shoots are usually a direct cost on top of standard production fees, itemised transparently rather than folded into a flat rate.
Is Brisbane still your base for regional Queensland work?
Yes. Brisbane based, Queensland wide, interstate when it makes sense. Remote locations aren't an add-on to our business, they're a genuine share of the work.
Have you produced campaign content specific to Cairns, Mackay, Rockhampton or Toowoomba?
Yes. The Connecting Queensland campaign for the Department of Transport and Main Roads was built as eight separate region-specific stories, including Cairns, Mackay, Rockhampton and Toowoomba, each carrying its own real investment figures and a named local project rather than a generic statewide message.
